Downtown Boulder Condo
Design Studio Interior Solutions was given the task of updating a small, older condo in Downtown Boulder.
the bathroom
The owners wanted a bathroom that was not only updated, but more suited to ageing in place. We eliminated the bathtub and created a beautiful large shower with a niche, bench and hand-held shower head. A modern style was brought in with new light cabinets, quartz countertops and new plumbing.
the living room and kitchen
In the living room, bi-fold custom doors made from reclaimed wood with frosted glass inserts were added to the open window to the guest room/office space, providing privacy as well as interest. The kitchen was also updated and lightened by the addition of light quartz countertops, replacing the old dark granite. A new sink and faucet completed the design.
