JUDITH GOLDMAN
CEO
Judy Goldman is an entrepreneur; a Cordon Bleu-trained chef; a philanthropist; a banker; a wife; a mother; and the CEO and owner of Design Studio Interior Solutions and Front Range Design Center.
Judy runs both businesses – paying the bills, negotiating the contracts, slaying the dragons, and supporting her team so that they are free to take care of our clients and deliver extraordinary design.
During her 20 years in finance, she worked in New York, Los Angeles, and San Francisco banking fortune 500, middle-market, and high net worth clientele. She founded a business strategy consulting company and catering company. Now, a full-time resident of Boulder, CO, she created Design Studio Interior Solutions, an interior design firm, and Front Range Design Center, an FF&E, warehousing, inventory management, procurement, and logistics company servicing the building trade — architects, builders, designers, and contractors. Both companies focus on delivering exceptional client experiences with a budget-forward approach. Judy is an active supporter of community-based charities such as Boulder’s Blue Sky Bridge and the JCC.

JAMIE VALDEZ
lead designer
Jamie loves Pineapple Pizza, throwing block parties and every possible shade of black.
She is also an award-winning ASID member who has designed both residential and commercial projects across the United States. With over 19 years of hands-on experience, Jamie loves and understands the details and challenges involved in designing kitchens and bathrooms from the floor plans to the color schemes to the smallest finish details.
After graduating with a BA in Interior Design, Jamie joined a boutique, residential firm in Chicago where she worked on everything from 15,000 square foot mansions to urban penthouses and lakefront vacation homes. After returning to her home state of Colorado, she developed her practice by becoming lead designer for a Boulder residential firm where she worked on homes from Denver to Vail. Subsequently she ran her own firm designing both homes and commercial spaces before Judy Goldman recruited her for the team at Design Studio.
Design Studio is thrilled to have Jamie as part of the Senior Design Team working with both residential and commercial clients. She would love to design a kitchen, bathroom or whole home remodel for you.

DYLAN DEEDS
assistant vice president | project manager
Dylan Deeds has played trombone in a ska band, traveled the coast of Costa Rica solo on a motorcycle, and has his eye on racing his motorcycle to the top of Pike’s Peak.
A combination of Steve McQueen and Steve Jobs, Dylan is the Operations Manager at Design Studio Interior Solutions. He ensures our projects are completed on time, on budget, with a smile on our clients’ faces the whole time.
Originally from California, he studied both Architecture and Business Administration, bringing the best of both worlds together through a love for technology, functionality and art. He was top of his class in Architecture and in Graphic/Web Design. Dylan strongly believes that beauty and functionality do not have to be independent of each other. An avid camper, he recently added a rooftop tent to his truck to avoid sharing his tent with bears.

project manager
Rick Burns has flipped his motorcycle on the Golden Gate Bridge, has jumped out of a plane in the dark, and makes the most delicious Cadillac Margaritas.
At Design Studio he is a Project Manager charged with keeping our clients’ projects running on time, on budget and hassle-free.
Rick grew up working on his grandfather’s 32-acre avocado and lemon orchard where he later helped to create and install an automated irrigation system with soil saturation meters that could be monitored by satellite from anywhere in the world. He is a Certified Technician for Volkswagen; Yamaha Motorcycles; and holds a Universal EPA 608 HVAC certification. He served in the US Army for four years. He is currently restoring a 1968 Mercedes Benz and on the weekends you can find him hiking or camping with his eight-month-old, insanely adorable, Golden Retriever named Ruger.
