Repeat clients for Design Studio and lifelong collectors of English and Irish antiques, our homeowners wanted to enjoy their antiques in a contemporary suburban home. Candace Donnell suggested wallpaper as a way to give their period pieces a colorful and more traditional background. As the couple both love birds, Candace found prints that featured their fine, feathered friends in a playful, yet sophisticated way, as well as a black iron bird’s nest fixture for the setting room. The home features a two-story entry hall that called for a great chandelier — an airy, black iron find completed the look.
