Berkeley Heights

Berkeley

This contemporary new build located in the heart of one of Denver’s thriving art districts was a blank canvas, yearning for a bold and lively design. The inspiration for the furnishings, including the luxury furniture, was to reflect the cultured history of the clients while keeping in tune with the contemporary architecture. Bold color stories and geometric patterns cover the home’s interiors, creating excitement in every corner. Cultural artifacts and artworks fit right in with the global inspired fabrics and patterns, which was important for the design. A home is a reflection of its owners, and we made sure each room was curated with their vision at the forefront. This home is a work of art in itself, nestled in a neighborhood where artistic expression is abundant and an important part of Denver’s diverse culture.

BOLD. ECLECTIC. MODERN. GLOBAL. UNIQUE. ARTISTIC.

The launching point for this design was the unique dining room wallpaper. It is hard to ignore with the bold color and pattern. It immediately sets the tone for the rest of this urban home.

Design Process

Immediately our Boulder home interior design team knew that layers of neutral-toned furniture were the initial direction for this home. With the Denver cityscape as our backdrop, we mixed tones of silver, gold, and blacks to ground the interior. We then layered jewel tones through fabrics, accessories, art, and accent furniture to avoid creating a palette that was too sedate. Upon placing the final touches of accessories, we realized that we had created something unique to the neighborhood and stunning to all who visit this home.

3D Visualization

Utilizing 3D modeling as a visualization tool is essential, especially for projects that have us impatiently anticipating the final result. When the concept is invigorating, the design becomes all consuming. Creating a 3D rendering for our Boulder area home interior designs also ensures that we get every detail just right. It is always rewarding to see the side-by-side comparison of digital and reality.
